Alek Ahmed
n 2010 Alek started working with BWA as a young apprentice. He then worked his way to become the BWA Senior Adviser. Alek currently works for Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC) as an Administrative Officer and works in several departments across government such as Department of Works and Pensions (DWP) and Foreign Commonwealth Office (FCO) in various roles to deal with peaks of work, as well as priority and crisis situations.

Sabia Yasmin
Sabiya Yasmin is a Director of the BWA Board, employed in the health sector working in a Pharmacy. She accurately dispenses services to clinics, patients and other healthcare providers in line with standard operating procedures. Sabiya is a multi-talented and competent translator and interpreter for NHS services and clients. As one of the first girls' youth club attendee at the Tipton Muslim Community Centre, she has been involved for 20 years of community service supporting diversity and multicultural issues strategically.
